Anna Silk is Canadian actress that is most well-known in Canada for her role of Bo. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. The daughter of Peter an academic, and Ilkay Silk who is a renowned performer, actress, and playwright as well as Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her earliest memories of life, including watching and participating in rehearsals of stage plays. Silk was a small actress in commercials. Silk graduated from St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged two plays in the early years: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved out of Toronto in the year 1999 to Los Angeles within the decade following 1999. Seth Cooperman met Silk at the Actors Workshop held in Los Angeles, in 2007. In 2009, the couple were married civilly in December 2009. After she had converted to Judaism, they were married again in a Jewish ceremony on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman had a baby boy, her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th May, 2016. Silk's television work is a part of Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. She was given the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk made it known to her fans that she was expecting a baby at the beginning of January 2013, during an episode of Showcase Season Three Special. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the beginning of production for the fourth season and on June 20, 2013 Silk announced via Twitter that she was ready to the series. CNN named Bo's portrayal alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple in 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's popularity has resulted in an extensive online presence on social networks.
