The actress was born in the city of Los Angeles, on the 16th of September in 1958 to the mother of an actor but failed at it and a father who made a living selling cars. Jennifer, second in a four-child family, was often at her mother's theater performance and was awestruck. Jennifer's mother and father split at the age five. Jennifer resided in British Columbia for most of her childhood following the divorce of her mother, along with the others moved there. Jennifer didn't get a good education, despite being a talented kid. In Canada she was the victim of bullying frequently. Her interest in theater began to fade as she entered high school, she began taking part in shows together with her mom. Every child was motivated by their mothers to pursue a love for art.
