Alison Wright, an English actor from England. She is most famous for her role in the lead role of Martha Hanson on the FX period spy drama series The Americans, for which she received critical acclaim and was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award nomination in 2017. Her other acting credits include the Ryan Murphy series Feud, Bette & Joan in Hollywood. Wright, who was adoptive by her parents was born Sunderland in the year 1976. She began dancing and acting at a young age. She took classes in dancing and acting at New York City's prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and The Barrow Group. The waitress was employed while auditioning for parts. She had been scuba diving as a major love of hers, when she suffered a cardiac event at sea which left her in an induced in a coma. Six days later, she passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family members, who flew in to be by her side at the hospital. Wright was adopted by her parents, and brought up in Sunderland. Her birth date was 12 July 1976. She began dancing and acting at a young age. Her education was at The Barrow Group and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City.
