Kyra Minton was born in the city of New York, and is an American actor. She is well-known all over the globe, but is most famously in America for her role as the lead in the TV show 'The Closer'. Sedgwick is fascinated by performing, art and Broadway from the age of 12. Her introduction to Broadway by her mother, who was interested in it. Sedgwick's debut acting gig was on a TV show named 'Another World. The show was on when she was 16 years old. Sedgwick went on to play minor roles on television but it was really her dream that she could be a famous actor that enticed her.
